Can you believe that we are already at the halfway point of 2011?!! Six full months behind us & the remaining six start right here…today!!! Just thought I’d point that out in case you hadn’t noticed!!!!
As it’s the first of the month I have a lot of creativity to share, so I’ll keep the chat to a minimum (if at all possible…you know me!!!)
I thought that this would be my last month on the DT over at Dixie Pieces & therefore my last time of sharing my kit submissions…but no!! Sherry has kindly offered a three month extension…of course I readily agreed!!!
The Dixie Pieces kit for July is called ‘Tropical Paradise’ & is a dream! Bright colours, varied textures, interesting embellishments & a wonderful array of alpha’s…something (if not everything!!) for everyone!!
So…what did I do with it all?!!!
Firstly, a few LO’s…

That polka dot tissue paper is wonderful to work with & adds such texture!!
There’s Hilary again!…she’ll be charging me royalties if I keep this up!!! Check out those zipper flowers…I’ll be raiding my sewing box to make some more of these!!!
Then I struggled with how to use that Maya Road Watermelon chipboard mini…
...& decide to bind it into a mini memory book for my recent trip to Mallorca!!
…& finally…with the wonderful news I shared in my last post! I had to make a card for Hubby…
…the inside reads “ with love from your very own Mrs Robinson!”
The silhouette was cut…funnily enough…on my Silhouette!!

I'm not surprised they wanted to keep you on! And I'm not surprised that you said yes because these kits seem to fit you so well. Every month I am amzed by the pages you put together
