Wow!! Talk about speedy service!! I am soooooo excited!!! Remember how, on Thursday, I posted that I had, that morning, ordered my Canon EOS 450D DSLR?Well…on returning from the afternoon school run on Friday it had arrived!!…I was gobsmacked & I LOVE IT!!!
Obviously, I immediately set about setting it up & snapping all around the house!! I am going to be (even more than usual) unbearable for the foreseeable future!!
On Thursday evening my good friend Sue popped round with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which were a gift from herself & the rest of the girls as a ‘Thank You’ for my driving on our girls night out….totally unnecessary but fully appreciated nonetheless! Isn’t friendship wonderful thing?!!
Starting yesterday, I have been taking part in the Dixie Pieces ‘Beat the Blues’ on-line crop….it continues tomorrow, but I have to go to work! Today has been great fun with Bingo & a Countdown game & general chat on the forum….& of course there are lots of inspiring challenges. This is a LO I have managed to complete today..the challenge was to include the word ‘BLUE’ in the title.
The journaling reads “I’m ready for my close up!” After the photographer had called time on our sitting, Alex started to perform! Luckily he managed to grab his camera & catch the impromptu action! As it turned out this was my favourite shot from the whole sitting! What a little star! February 1997.
I am just off to finish another LO challenge & check on my Bingo words!! There is one challenge which I just know is going to drive me mad!! I shared a similar one with you back in the summer…it’s to name the manufacturers of the following PP’s…
Any & All help gratefully received!! All challenges have a closing date of 11.59pm PST on February 18th so that should keep me busy…if I can put the camera down for long enough!!
There is more snow forecast for Tuesday & it’s supposed to be sticking around for TEN days!!! What a fabulous photographic opportunity!!! See what I mean…Unbearable!!!!! LOL!!
Thanks for dropping by…keep safe & warm xx
